I'm walking for a world without T1D
27 years ago, our son Adam was diagnosed with T1D at the tender age of 6. To say our lives would never be the same is a huge understatement. We've walked every year since 1996 to help raise critical research funds for JDRF and support Adam, and we'll continue until a cure is found.
This year, we will be celebrating on Saturday, December 9 at UNLV. Please join us - it’s going to be one heck of a party!!
Now, more than ever, your donations matter. The craziness of Covid and recent global events has impacted the JDRF mission and community in more ways than you could ever imagine. New diagnoses haven’t slowed, and the health of our T1D community is at risk and still vulnerable to this virus because of their already-compromised immune systems. Our mission to fund research has been enormously impacted by the economic hardship this pandemic has created, and as the mother of a son who is afraid to go outside for fear of getting sick, I just can’t sit around without taking action. Now, more than ever, I’m asking for your help.
By joining or donating to our JDRF One Walk® team today, you’ll help fund critical research to improve the lives of everyone challenged by T1D. With your support, JDRF will turn Type One into Type None. Thanks for your support!
