With more than 100 chapters, branches and affiliates worldwide, finding a JDRF chapter near you is as easy as clicking here.

Is there a registration fee?

JDRF One Walks don't require a registration fee but participants are encouraged to support T1D research by fundraising or making a donation.

Do I need to register ahead of time?

Yes. Registering online gives you access to a number of great fundraising resources and lets us keep you updated on the latest JDRF and Walk info. It also gives us an idea of how many people to expect at each Walk, so we can plan ahead for refreshments, T-shirts and volunteer staffing.

How Do I Register My Family?

You have the option to add children under the age of 16 to your online registration. Look for the "Register My Child" button on the last step of registration. Adding children to your registration will ensure that all communications for your child are sent to your email address.

All individuals that do not fall under the child registration category will need to register themselves with their unique email addresses.

If I participated last year, how do I get my login information?

To retrieve your login information, visit this page. Under the orange LOG IN button, there is a "Forgot Username or Password" link that will assist you in retrieving this information.

Can I Participate In Jdrf One Walk If I'm Not On A Team?

Yes, you can choose to walk and fundraise individually. But walking with friends, family or coworkers can make the Walk more enjoyable and rally even more support for JDRF.

How Can I Join A Team?

When you register, you can choose to join an existing team or create your own by registering as a team captain.

Is there a fundraising minimum?

No, but we encourage every participant to support JDRF by making a donation and aiming high when setting their fundraising goals.

How are donations made?

Donations can be made via cash, check or online with a credit card. All checks should be made payable to JDRF.

Do you accept employer-matching donations?

Yes, talk to your human resources department to find out if your company participates in our matching gift program or search the matching gift database. You can double or even triple your fundraising contribution to JDRF.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes, all donations to JDRF are tax-deductible.

How do I get a JDRF One Walk t-shirt?

Any participant who turns in donations of $100 or more, on or before Walk Day, will receive an official JDRF One Walk T-shirt.

Can I still fundraise if I can't attend a Walk?

Of course! You can choose to sign up as a "Virtual Walker" when you register. This means that even though you won't be walking in person, you'll still run a fundraising campaign and virtually "walk" to support JDRF.

Can I fundraise after Walk day?

Yes, any funds submitted within four weeks of Walk Day are included in qualifying totals for individual fundraising rewards and team awards. Any funds submitted after that are still accepted and although they won't qualify you for rewards, they still go toward life-changing T1D research.

What kind of support will I receive?

JDRF chapter staff can assist you every step of the way with helpful fundraising tools and resources, and any other support you may need.

Is there a fundraising rewards program?

Yes! When you fundraise for JDRF, you show the world that you can make a difference in the lives of millions of people affected by T1D. To thank you for your commitment and hard work, we offer some great prizes as rewards. After your final donations are tallied, you'll select a prize based on the total amount of money you raised.

Check out all the great prizes at our fundraising rewards website.

V1P status is rewarded to participants who raise $1,000 or more. As congratulations for being part of the top 5% of fundraisers, they receive exclusive V1P badges and lanyards as well as access to the V1P tent on event Day. But it doesn't stop there. This elite group will also receive the V1P Award as a token of our gratitude.

What should I bring the day of the Walk?

Make sure to bring your completed walker donation form and collection envelope with any cash or check donations. Donations can also be handed into your local JDRF chapter beforehand, as you collect them.

How far is each Walk?

Most JDRF One Walks are 3 miles long, although they can range from one to five miles. Some have shorter routes for families and children that want to walk, but may not be able to complete a longer route. You can find the details on your Walk's event page.

What should I wear?

Dress casually and wear comfortable shoes, but make sure to check the weather beforehand so you can dress appropriately.

What if there is inclement weather?

Most JDRF One Walks take place rain or shine, so it's a good idea to plan accordingly in the case of inclement weather.
