The Benefits of a Walk Team

Walk Website Team BenefitsJoining or starting a Walk team lets you reach a greater number of people with your fundraising and awareness efforts. It’s easy to form a team, and there’s no limit to how many people can join. All we ask is that team members commit to fundraising for JDRF.

Participants discover that the many benefits of joining a team include:

  • Inspiring and motivating one another by sharing personal stories about what JDRF and finding a cure for T1D mean to them
  • Supporting and encouraging their loved ones and all people affected by T1D
  • Raising awareness of T1D and educating the public about JDRF's work to fund T1D research
  • Developing camaraderie with a dedicated team of like-minded people
  • Enjoying friendly competition and creativity among team members to encourage fundraising success
  • Encouraging teamwork among companies, schools, and civic organizations that boosts morale and increases visibility in the community
