Our Corporate Partners
JDRF Corporate Partners consistently go above and beyond in their efforts to raise money for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
With their support, we are able to increase the amount of research we fund. Our Partners take us into their corporate families and make JDRF a part of their culture. They encourage their employees to volunteer their time through local events and leadership roles, and engage their customers and vendors on our behalf. We thank each of our partners and their communities for their generosity and commitment in helping us turn Type One into Type None.
If you're a local company or business owner and want to get involved, JDRF Walk provides the perfect opportunity to take the first step. Contact your local chapter to learn more and become a partner today.
For more than 20 years, our Elite Partners have contributed more than $2 million every year to JDRF to help fund life-changing T1D research. The dedication and support of their employees, customers, and vendors have made, and continue to make, our mission of turning Type One into Type None possible.

Ford Motor Company
Ford Motor Company has supported JDRF since 1983. In 1998, Ford expanded this relationship with the creation of the employee-driven Ford Global Action Team (FGAT), combining the passion and power of Ford employees, families, and friends, as well as key business partners from WPP, Mazda, BP, ADESA, and the UAW. With tens of thousands of volunteers working together, the FGAT has consistently raised more than $3 million annually over the past twelve years. Marshalls has partnered with JDRF since 1994 and has raised millions of dollars through in-store fundraisers to support JDRF's goal to create a world without T1D. Marshalls employees also volunteer with their local JDRF chapters, and many associates organize and participate in Walk teams for the JDRF Walk in each local market. Marshalls is one of the nation's leading off-price family retailers, with more than 900 stores spanning 43 states and Puerto Rico.
Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company with more than 90 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care, has been a committed partner of JDRF for more than 13 years. This national partnership began with Novo Nordisk's support of TypeOneNation.org, the JDRF online community for people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Novo Nordisk supports many JDRF initiatives that promote education and wellness in the T1D community. The company acts as a sponsor of the JDRF T1D Care Kit and the JDRF Bag of Hope-informational resources for newly diagnosed children and adults and their caregivers. They have provided a grant to support T1D Performance in Exercise and Knowledge (PEAK), a program to address the statistically proven need for additional education for people with T1D on physical activity and T1D management. In April 2013, Novo Nordisk became the National Presenting Sponsor of the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes. The company sponsors the JDRF Children's Congress, our flagship advocacy event. Novo Nordisk is a research partner and member of the JDRF Industry Advisory Panel, a forum that maintains an open dialogue between JDRF and our industry partners.
