Death Valley, CA

October 13 - 16, 2016

On October 15, 300 riders from 35 states and 6 countries came to one of the most remote places in the United States—Death Valley National Park—to take part in the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes and raise money for a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Riders were faced with epic conditions: high winds and the scorching desert sun, but that didn’t stop them from collectively riding thousands of miles in an effort to turn Type One into Type None.

At the end of the weekend, these incredible riders raised over $1.5 Million for T1D research.

A huge thank you to our riders, all of whom received the Spirit jersey for braving adverse conditions with a smile, volunteers and crew who all made the 2016 Death Valley Ride a weekend to remember.

With you every mile of the way

Whether you choose to ride 25, 60 or even 100 miles, you'll be surrounded by the T1D community–fellow riders, coaches, friends and family. You can do this.
