La Crosse, WI
August 11 - 14, 2016
On August 13, the second JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes was held in La Crosse, Wisconsin. More than 320 riders rode from Wisconsin, through Minnesota, to Iowa and back to raise money for a cure type 1 diabetes (T1D).
The weather could not have been better for our riders on Ride day: 80’s and sunny! As the riders road down the banks of the Mississippi, they were cheered on every step of the way by our amazing Ride family and supported by our coaches, crew and volunteers, keeping the riders happy and hydrated.
Most importantly, the riders raised nearly $1,000,000 for T1D research, including $200,000 from our Corporate Partner, Hy-Vee.
The JDRF Ride is about camaraderie, commitment and passion and we are extremely grateful to all the JDRF Riders, donors, crew members and volunteers for their efforts in making the 2016 La Crosse Ride a huge success.
