Lake Tahoe, CA
September 9 - 12, 2016
On September 11, 135 riders featuring two corporate teams came from across the country to cycle around the largest alpine lake in North America and raise money for a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) in the Tour de Tahoe.
On Sunday, the weather could not have been better: 70’s and sunny. The deep blue of Lake Tahoe served as the perfect backdrop to a day when JDRF riders cycled thousands of miles all in an effort to turn Type One into Type None.
And most importantly, our riders raised more than $600,000 for T1D research.
A huge thank you to all of our riders, crew and volunteers who made this Ride such a resounding success.
