Join me in the fight to cure, better treat and prevent type 1 diabetes!
Hello! This year, I will again be taking part in JDRF's Ride to Cure Diabetes, along with hundreds of other riders across the country to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). If you ask people with T1D, they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening. And they know it never goes away.
It was over 19 years ago when my son Ryne was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and six years later my daughter Ashley was diagnosed. I'm asking you to help support my fundraising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will help make a difference in the lives of people with T1D, and hopefully lead to a cure.
I have posted a new video from the 1996 JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes public service announcement in which RJ appeared. Click on the number "2" under the photos to the right to see the video!
JDRF consistently ranks at the top of charities with respect to the percentage of expenditures directed toward research. For more information, please visit the links below for the JDRF website and an article from last November's issue of Forbes magazine:

As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Please help me assist JDRF in their mission to find a cure, and let me know if you would like any additional information, or if you are interested in joining me on the ride!
Thank you for your support!
Jeff (and Ryne and Ashley)
