Friends and Family - Welcome to my JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes Page!
I will be riding 100 miles in Vermont on July 24 - 27 with my life-long friend Jeff Rosen - to raise money and support JDRF as they continue to bring life-changing therapies to the type 1 community until a cure for this serious autoimmune disease can be found. Jeff's son Noah was diagnosed with T1D several years ago - and since that time his family and friends have been very active in their support of JDRF.
For those of you unaware:
- Type 1 diabetes strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle.
- T1D occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas.
- T1D requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
Please support my commitment to creating a world without T1D by making a donation on my personal fundraising page. The online donation form takes just a few minutes to complete.
Your donation to my Ride means so much to me and the success of JDRF’s plan to turn Type One into Type None.
Thanks for your consideration,
