Join me in the fight to cure, better treat and prevent type 1 diabetes!

Hello! This year, I'll be taking part in JDRF's Ride to Cure Diabetes, along with hundreds of other riders across the country to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D).  If you ask people with T1D, they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening.  And they know it never goes away.

Our friends, the Schaeffers, know this all too well.  Allen (pictured here) recently lost the battle to diabetes.  He lived with it for appox. 47 years, but in the end the compications affecting his heart, his nerves, his eyes...it was just too much.

Please consider a gift in support of me, in memory of Allen, and to ensure that kids like his grandchildren Zach and Anna (also pictured) and my son Noah will never have to worry about this disease and its devastating complications.

As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D.  JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered.  Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
