On August 17th of this year, my wife and I will start a 100 mile journey.  This journey is is honor our son, Jack, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes just after he turned 2 years old.  This past 1 1/2 has been life changing for our family and for my little guy.  Type 1 diabetes affects everything in his life.  It is a disease that he can't ever get away from or forget about.  Every minute of every day, Type 1 diabetes is with him.  It affects him physically and emotionally.  He is a very strong 3 year old.  We pray every day that this will not be his life.  We pray every day for a cure.  However, finding and researching for a cure costs a lot of money.  My family has dedicated our lives to raising money to find this cure for Jack and for millions of others that live with T1D.  Please help us with our fight. 

On August 17th, we will take a little bike ride.  We will be starting in LaCrosse, WI.  Traveling on bike over to Minnesota, across the Mississippi River and south into Iowa.  This will be a very difficult 100 mile bike ride journey but it's nothing compared to what my Jack goes through every day.

Did you know that:
