This year my family and I are joining JDRF's Ride to Cure Diabetes
We'll be riding in Burlington Vermont on July 27th along with 150 other riders from across the country many who also have Type I diabetes (T1D).
Diabetes is a very popular disease in the world, it is estimated that 1.5 to 3 million people have Type I diabetes and 20 - 30 people are diagnosed everyday.
Diabetes is when your pancreas stops producing insulin. Insulin is a liquid that keeps a person's blood sugar where it should be. A non-diabetics blood sugar is normally 80 - 100. I take insulin and try to keep my blood sugar between 120 - 150 most of the time.
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
Did you know that:
JDRF is the leader in the Type I diabetes community, they are focused on finding a cure. Please donate to JDRF as generously as possible.
Thank you for your support!
