Nashville, TN is home of country music, the Grand Ole Opry, southern hospitality and some of the best cycling the South has to offer. The JDRF inaugural Nashville, TN Ride follows scenic roads through the countryside and parklands before entering the Natchez Trace Parkway. This ride offers a challenging out and back course with rolling hills, beautiful vistas and limited commercial traffic. The Natchez Trace, designated as one of the top 10 U.S. biking routes, is a historical path that extends roughly 440 miles from Natchez, Mississippi to Nashville, Tennessee, linking the Cumberland, Tennessee and Mississippi rivers. Enjoy cycling with no stop signs or stop lights as access on and off the Trace is via on and off ramps. Instead of utility poles and buildings, the Trace is lined with forests, farmland, creeks and beautiful panorama views, making Nashville, TN a cyclist's dream.
