Join me in the fight to cure, better treat and prevent type 1 diabetes!
Riding 100 miles on a bike to help fund a cure for type 1 diabetes - absolutely. Just over 5 years ago our daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2. She is now an amazing, spunky, energetic, gymnastics loving, drama playing 7 year old. From the beginning JDRF has been our rock to meet other families with type 1 kids and adults with type 1 throughout our state and across the country. I truly believe that JDRF will one day find a cure for type 1 and the sleepless nights of 2am blood sugars checks will completely go away.
Until then our family will ride to fund a cure for type 1 diabetes. My husband has ridden the last two years, in Tucson and Death Valley each, and now we will conquer Nashville together. Our daughter has also begun riding and has completed 100+ miles each of the last two years over the summer. We don't just ride for her but we ride for Kaelyn, Megan, Sophie, Megan, Jonathan, Victoria, Susannah, Cole, Matthew, Cameron, Harry, Alec, CJ, Luke, Megan, Abbie, Chris, Lydia Ruth, Emily, Olivia, Amy, Will, Mary Grace...AND all of our other T1D friends.
We will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to my ride and support JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you and ride on!
