As many of you know, I have been working for the past 4 years with the JDRF organization. In fact, I become a member of the Board of Directors two years ago on the Northwest Arkansas Branch because I have seen the difference this organization can make in the lives of so many people. In addition to my normal work with this organization, I have decided to participate in another fundraiser this year. In September 2013, I will be joining hundreds of other volunteers around the country to ride my bicycle for 72 miles in Lake Tahoe, CA. Yes, 72 miles in the mountains! JDRF sponsors several other rides around the country and I have chosen this one because it is one of the toughest due to the terrain and mountains.
Join me in the fight to cure, better treat and prevent type 1 diabetes!
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
My goal this year is to raise $4,000 by September. Whatever you can give will help me achieve that goal. No amount is too small and the best news is that this money goes towards improving the lives of all those people living with type 1 diabetes.
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered.
Thank you for your support!
