Dear Friends and Family,
After taking two years off to pursue my goal of completing an Ironman Triathlon I am back for my 5th time riding with JDRF to raise money for a Type 1 Diabetes cure, this time as the cycling coach of the Austin JDRF Chapter. Over the past few months and leading up to the ride I am training a group of 8 riders who will join me in Wisconsin this August to complete the 100 mile ride for a cure. I also managed to convince my dad to join this year and he will be riding with the Austin team as he completes his first JDRF ride. Together as a team we are hoping to raise over $30,000 toward continued Type 1 Diabetes research. I have now been living with Type 1 Diabetes for over 9 years, every year treatment continues to improve and a cure becomes closer to reality.
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you for your support!
