Welcome to the Fox-Girovich Family Page

    Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As many of you know, our daughter Bella was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes two years ago.  Needless to say, our family is forever changed. Since then, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) has become a source of support and inspiration for living a full and healthy life with type 1 diabetes.  Every August, we participate in JDRF's Ride to Cure Diabetes 100-mile ride in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

This year, we have decided to up the ante and have some fun with it. Our goal is to raise $12,000, bringing us that much closer to a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

Please help us raise money to support JDRF and help find a cure for diabetes!  Won't you please give to JDRF? Any amount is greatly appreciated.  If you prefer to write a check, please send it to JDRF, c/o Carol Fox-Girovich, 1412 W. Belmont Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60657/

You can also join us at our first-ever fundraising benefit, Bike and Brew Benefit for JDRF at Lagunitas Brewery, Tuesday, July 22 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $40 per person + $5.00 per beer.  Tickets for ages 25 and under are $20 per person.  The evening will include a light dinner and entertainment.

100% of the proceeds will benefit JDRF's Ride to Cure Diabetes.

For more information on our event, please visit the website below.

Together, we can make the cure a reality!

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) strikes both children and adults at any age. It comes on suddenly, causes dependence on injected or pumped insulin for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications.

As the leader of the T1D community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat, and prevent T1D.  In this role, JDRF has funded more than $1.6 billion in diabetes research since its founding in 1970, and has meaningfully advanced the T1D scientific frontier and the management of this disease.
