Dear friends!
Bailey Sullivan, my eldest grandson, is an active 16 year old high school freshman. In addition to being a really good student, he is a cross-country runner, enjoys history and debate, and plays a mean guitar.
Bailey was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes when he was 9 years old and has been monitoring his blood sugars and treating himself with Insulin since then.
Because I believe that, with sufficient funding for research, a cure for juvenile diabetes will be developed during Baileys lifetime, on August 17, 2013, I will be biking 100 miles in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Ride to Cure Diabetes taking place in La Crosse WI. Hundreds of riders from all over the nation will be joining together to raise money for the research supported by the JDRF to prevent, treat, and cure juvenile diabetes. JDRF is the world wide leader in supporting research directed toward curing and improving the treatment of juvenile diabetes.
Please help me blow the top off my fund raising goal of $2000.00. Any amount you can contribute to this research cause is greatly appreciated.
Simply push the blue Donate button at the top of the page and indicate how much you wish to give to support JDRF and help cure Juvenile Diabetes.
Thank you so much.
Drew Sullivan
