Welcome to Sam and Analise's personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! We will be taking part in this year's Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). If you ask people with T1D (us), they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening. And they know it never goes away.
We are asking for your support. Please donate to our personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help us make a difference in our lives, and for millions of people living with Type 1 Diabetes.
I (Analise) was diagnosed with T1D in January 2012. Life with diabetes hasn't always been the easiest but the amazing advancements in technology have helped me through it. I am 13 years old and this is my second time participating in the walk. I enjoy drawing, playing softball and listening to music. I hope you will take the time to donate a few dollars and help make a difference in thousands of kids lives.
I (Sam) was diagnosed January 8, 2008. I was just barely 8 years old when I got it. I was severely afraid of needles. When I first got my pump I fainted it was a frightening feeling but I am used to it now. I have had diabetes for 5 years and a pump user for 5 and want to raise money for the little kids to help find a cure.
Did you know that:
As the leader of the Type 1 Diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you for your support!!!!!
