Hi to all my friends and family,
Each year my family takes great pride in this wonderful cause. My husband, as you know is Type 1 diabetic. This year in particular we had a huge hurdle, my husband has been diabetic for over 16 years. He has maintained it very well but this year he was facing challenges. In order to get him on track, he began wearing an insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitor attached to his stomach. Both have proven to be useful tools in managing his chronic disease. It means a tube attached to him at all times, along with and a medical device, and separately a computer chip connected to him beaming an RFID signal to another device. Because of JDRF, it gives people like my husband with diabetes, another chance, another way to facilitate a better quality of life. This is just one example, they are continuing with many ways to help in treating Type 1 and striving to find a cure. We all have to help continue to fund research through JDRF. We can't do it without your support. All the donations that people like you have made have funded and continue to fund research that has resulted in advancements benefiting millions. JDRF is helping to improve the quality of life for everyone from children to adults, and may soon have a breakthrough in finding a cure. In order to do that we need You to help Fund a cure.
Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible? Together, we can make the cure a reality!
Lots of love,
