Meet our son Jack, he has type 1 diabetes.  He didn?t catch it, and he?s not contagious.  But don?t feel sorry for him.  He doesn?t feel sorry for you.  Because he knows God made him special.  He gets to take insulin which gives him super powers.  He is special, but not alone, he is in good company.  There are T1D American Ninja warriors, professional football players, teachers,  and even a Dog (?For real,  I?m not lying)!  Jack is blessed with good health and people that love him.  He has never met a stranger and is a loyal friend.  He doesn?t need your sympathy, but he does need your help.  T1D can be managed with shots, but it cannot be cured with a shot.  It cannot be cured by eating less sugar, and more research is needed to find a cure.   Jack may never be cured, but with your help, maybe someone?s child will be someday.  Maybe your future child, or grandchild, cousin, brother, sister, or friend.   Even if you can?t give financially right now, you can still support Jack by joining team JACK ATTACK.
