Welcome to our personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! We'll be taking part in this year?s Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). If you ask people with T1D, they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening. And they know it never goes away.
We am asking for your support. Please donate to our personal fundraising efforts and join our Team Courtney on the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes! By doing so, you can help make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
Courtney was diagnosed April 16, 2012 and from that day forward our lives have become very different. A day in the life of Courtney involves checking her blood sugar by pricking a finger 8-10 daily, counting carbohydrates in every food and injecting insulin shots to cover for those carbs in addition to high blood sugars. The activity of just being a kid also weighs in with highs and lows affecting every aspect of her daily life. Courtney is a brave kid though and looks forward to moving to an insulin pump soon that will help reduce the numerous needle pricks sometimes up to 8 times a day. Please join us and become a part of Team Courtney in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes!
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you for your support!
