On Saturday, October 19, 2013, our family and friends will be walking in the Walk to Cure Diabetes. As you may know, we have a most personal connection with this disease that affects millions of children and adults. It has been two years since Nolan's diagnosis with Type 1 diabetes. As many of you may already know, Nolan has to prick his fingers and received insulin injections approximately 4-5 times every single day! He has scars all over the tips of his fingers from being pricked so many times. He even has scar tissue on the back of his arms and legs from all the needle injections. However, to stay alive, Nolan has to endure this until a cure is found. That is why I am pleading for your sponsorship!
I am asking for your support. Let's show Nolan that he is not alone in his fight against diabetes. Please join us as we take part in JDRF's annual Walk to Cure Diabetes. We greatly appreciate your consideration and support of this most worthy cause. Please join Nolan on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Atlanta Centennial Olympic Park from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Remember if you plan to walk, you must register on the home page under my name. If you walk and give a donation...Awesome! It's not about the money. It's about the cause and the support. Even if you make a $1.00 donation, it is greatly appreciated!
