Inspiration comes in many forms, take children for example… spend only 15 minutes with a child, on their level, most of the time that means on the floor, and when you return to your feet, tell me you’re not inspired by what they’ve shared, what they’ve allowed you to see and feel and how they’ve explain the impossible.
With that, we invite you to be inspired by Davis Soto and the Type 1 Dream Team (T1DT) this Saturday, October 19 at 9:30 a.m. down at Centennial Park for our 2nd Annual JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes.
First and foremost, our goal is support for Davis through letters of encouragement and physically walking alongside him and his T1DT teammates. You can’t imagine how inspired (uh, invincible) he is when he has his friends and family by his side.
Coming in a close second, but equally as important, are the donation that fund research, prevention and the efforts to cure T1D.
Now we know we’re not the most efficient fundraisers waiting until a week before the walk to communicate our efforts, but it’s not about the money this year, it’s about the support Davis feels from his team, local and outside of Atlanta that’ll see him him through the 2013 walk. With that said, please don’t let me discourage you from making a donation on Davis and his team’s behalf… fact is, we’re still spinning from the financial support we received last year – Thanks again.
Tax - deductable donation can be made to JDRF via TYPE 1 DREAM TEAM through the link below. The link will allow you to navigate to Davis’ T1DT personal page.
Please forward this communication to friends, family and co-workers alike that you feel may want to join us at the walk or make an inspiring contribution.
I’m available to discuss logistics for the walk at any time. Please call 770-378-3640
