Friends and Family,
As we walk again for Baylei, I look back at the wonderful people who love Baylei and have donated to her walk for a cure in the past! When a disease affects a child, I think people come together. I am truly thankful for all of you for being there for Baylei and her family the last 4 years of her type 1.
Four years of type 1 for Baylei is 11,680 finger pricks to check her blood sugar!
Can you imagine your child or even you having had pricked your finger that many times in 4 years? Baylei has scars already from the finger pricks! This is why we must find a cure!
What makes this walk year so special is that Baylei has been asked to be a "Walk Ambassador" for JDRF this year! She will be at all the walk functions this year to raise awareness for Type 1.
We are also seeing an incredible increase in Type 1, not only in children, but in adults as to no fault of their own! We must conquer this disease! Autoimmune diesases are on the increase, and a cure for one, is a cure for all of them!
JDRF gives 90% of the money raised to cutting edge research all over the world! One day there will be a cure, but until then we need the money to fund these scientists and find a cure! Please join us by pledging any amount you can and also, come walk with us!
Remember your donation is tax deductible and you are doing a great thing!
