Dear Friends and Family,

Well, it's that time of year again!  The JDRF Walk to Cure will be held on Saturday, February 25th at Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids.

On the outside, Brookelyn is growing into a lovely young woman - so much so, that you could never imagine looking at her that there is a battle going on inside her body every day.  It's a constant struggle to find just the right balance.  If her blood sugar drops too low, the risk of seizure, coma, or even death is immediate.  If her blood sugar goes too high, the risk of long-term, devastating complications is ever-looming.

The goal at JDRF is to Cure, Treat, and Prevent Type 1 Diabetes.  And with all of the generous donations from people just like you, we are closer to realizing these goals than we ever have been before!

Once again, we are asking for your support.  Please register to join team Keep the Faith at www.jdrf.org and join us in walking for a cure at Westdale Mall on Saturday, February 25th.  This year's theme is The Game of Life without Diabetes, and they have lots of fun events planned for the morning!  This is a fun, family-friendly event, with lots of FREE activities for the kids!  If you are able to join our team, please email Amy at amyjobo1027@gmail.com with your t-shirt sizes.
