Hi, Kat Foxx here! This year, We'll be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes and supporting Bryce, who has juvenile diabetes, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our goals. The walk is Saturday, February 23th at Westdale Mall at 10am.

I have been lucky enough to get to know Bryce in the past few years. Even though he is the one who is courageously battling this disease he always has a smile to share! Bryce has such a warm heart. Nothing would make him smile bigger than finding a cure! Bryce could be a future DJ - he has interviewed with me in the studios live on the air. One time he brought me a card that said, "Live Laugh Love" and he lives this way, touching everyones lives with his positive attitude, even though he has to poke his finger all through the day and wear an insulin pump. Please support Bryce and join our team or make a donation. Together, we can make a difference! Yeah! Bryce wants to find a cure this year if we can! It's hard for him to live with this disease.

Type 1, or juvenile diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children.

There is some good news, though. JDRF is our best hope for finding a cure. It funds more type 1 diabetes research than any other charity worldwide and it's making progress along many promising paths toward better treatments and a cure.
