Hi,

My name is Caitlin Kennedy. I am 13 years old and I am a 7th grader at Seton Catholic School in Farley. My parents are Brian and Laura Kennedy of Epworth. I have a brother Nolan, a 10th grader at Beckman in Dyersville, and two sisters, Becca, a 9th grader at Beckman In Dyersville and Brianna a 6th grader at Seton in Farley.

Since March 8th 2010 my life may never be the same without your help. Each day there are 80 people diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and 15,000 kids? each year diagnosed. On February 23th 2013 I will be participating in the JDRF walk to cure diabetes at Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids, IA. My team name this year is "Team Check It"

I am asking you to support my team and I. I am writing to ask for your support because now more than ever, EACH of us can be part of bringing about a cure. Each of us can make a real difference. Won't you please give to JDRF as you?re able? Together, we can make the cure a reality. No amount is too big or too small.

I also invite you to come and walk with us that day.
