After living with diabetes for 3 years now a cure means something different to me each day. Each day brings a new challenge and I never know what that might be. Words can't explain what a world without diabetes would mean to me. As a 4th time walker this year I am once again asking you to help. No amount is too small or too big. Each and every donation helps. If you would like to make a donation you can either do it online or mail it directly to me. Every dollar means a ton! I would like to thank you in advance for your contined help and support.
T1D is a life-threatening autoimmune disease in which a person’s pancreas stops producing insulin, which the body needs to get energy from food. Managing the disease requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on insulin. With T1D there are no days off, and there is no cure.
JDRF is working every day to change that. And, as the largest nongovernmental funder of T1D research, every dollar JDRF directs toward its research plan comes from donors like you.
Please support my commitment and donate to my Walk fundraising efforts today. Your gift will make a difference for millions of people affected by this devastating, life-threatening disease.
Thank you in advance for your support!
