Celia's Rock Band T1D

Welcome to "Celia's RockBand T1D" JDRF Walk Team Page!  We are taking the steps to help achieve JDRF's mission: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.  

The money our JDRF Walk Team raises will go directly to support this life-changing research.

The JDRF Walk theme this year is Rock the Walk. Everyone that participates in the Walk is a Rock Star!

This is our fourth year to have a Family Team and we enjoy it every year! Each year our team has raised over $4,000 for JDRF! Our first year's team "I WALK FOR CELIA" had 119 team members walking with us, all wearing blue hula monkey shirts. Our second year team "CAN YOU CURE ME NOW" received an award for the best team name! Last year "MISS CELIA'S POTATO HEADS" had our hot pink Miss Potato Head wearing an insulin pump and won best t-shirt design! This year we hope to have more Rock Star team members, raise over $5,000 for a CURE, and have fun along the way!

If you ordered a RockBand T1D team t-shirts, they will be here Monday 2/18. 

Rock the Walk is Saturday, February 23rd at Westdale Mall. The Mall opens at 8:00 with activities & entertainment on the lower level. We have a Team Photo at 9:15 on the lower level, behind center stage in the old Von Maur store. We will begin the Walk as a Team, starting at 10:00 on the upper level near Younkers and the mall entrance. If you have a stroller, there is an elevator on the lower level down the hallway from Chick-Fil-A.
