Matt was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in June 2011. He is doing a great job managing his diabetes but every day is a challenge, especially since he is an active 13-year-old who loves sports! We invite you to watch a short TEAM MATT video we created to give you a glimpse of Matt's journey.

We are taking the steps to help achieve JDRF's mission: to find a CURE for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. The money our JDRF Walk Team raises will go directly to support this life-changing research.
The JDRF Walk is a fantastic way to make a difference in the millions of lives of people affected by Type 1 Diabetes. We are asking for your support. Now more than ever, EACH of us can make a real difference in the lives of people with Type 1 Diabetes.
We welcome you to join TEAM MATT as a Walker on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids or by making a donation. Donations of any amount are appreciated and will go toward research. Together we can make a difference!
