Thanks for joining my walk team!

It's been 6 1/2 years since I was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes.  A lot in my life has changed since that day ... but one thing hasn't ... and that's my determination to do whatever I can to find a cure. Just as my walk team continues to grow from the love and support of friends and family like you ... so does my hope in finding that cure. 

I can't wait for the day when multiple finger pricks, high and low blood sugars and insulin injections are no longer a part of my life.  Doctors say that day is coming and that a cure is no-doubt within reach - it's just a matter of time.  But critical research still needs to be done.

There is some good news, though. JDRF is dedicated to finding a cure. It funds more type 1 diabetes research than any other charity worldwide and it's making great progress in devloping treatments and technologies that make living with diabetes easier for me and the millions of others who live with this disease.

A big thanks to all of you for walking this path with me.  Together, we'll find the cure.
