Hello! Once again, our family will be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes, in honor of our 8-year-old son, Devin. We had a great turnout of family and friends at last year's walk, and I'm excited to be the captain of our family team once more.

Last year our team of rebel "skywalkers" descended on downtown Des Moines to wage a battle against Type I diabetes.  This year, Devin's Force will regroup on February 16th, 2013 to continue the fight to find a cure for this dark disease.

If you are unable to join us for the walk, would you please consider making a donation to JDRF?  Type I, or juvenile diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people like Devin, and JDRF is our best hope for finding a cure. This organization funds more Type I diabetes research than any other charity worldwide and it's making progress along many promising paths toward better treatments and a cure.
