Hello, friends and family!

It's that time of year! It's hard to believe nearly 5 years have passed since Kyle's rare onset of adult T1D changed our lives forever. Since that time, there have been many exciting advances in treatment and we contine to be committed to finding a cure so our family and so many others have a better future. This year I am serving on the Walk Council as a media advisor and am really excited about getting the word out about what I great organization I have the pleasure of being involved with.

For those who do not know our story, Kyle's dad was also diagnosed with T1D in his thirties. Because of the genetic connection, the odds are greatly increased that one or both of our children will eventually develop the disease. Every dollar donated provides funding for essential research into new treatments that will TRULY benefit our family. 

We hope that you will consider either donating to Team Schuman or joining our team to walk with us on February 16.
