Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! I'll be taking part in this year?s Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). If you ask people with T1D, they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening. And they know it never goes away.

Both my dad and my little sister Saige have type 1 diabetes (T1D). At age 13, my dad Terry, was diagnosed with this life changing disease. While research and treatment have come a very long way in the past 25 years, JDRF is still searching for a CURE.

On September 27, 2012 my 7 year old sister Saige, was also diagnosed with T1D. If you know Saige then you know that she is a very strong and determined girl. As soon as she knew about the WALK she was ready to get her team lined up and wanted to make sure our dad was included in her team name.

I would love for you to help us take the steps to stomp out T1D for my dad, Saige and Everyone living with T1D.
