Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! I'll be taking part in this year?s Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). If you ask people with T1D, they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening. And they know it never goes away.
I am currently a sophomore at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. My current roommate Kaylee Posey has a BEAUTIFUL young cousin that was recently diagnosed with T1D. I met her when I played piano in Kaylee's brother's wedding and she is the strongest young girl! Therefore, when Kaylee asked me to participate in the walk I was so excited to join their team!
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes. My goal is $150, however I would LOVE to go beyond that!
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
The walk in February 16th and you may either donate on my personal page or mail me a check (put my name in memo, make out to JDRF Walk to cure diabetes) or cash to:
701 North C. Street
Indianola, Iowa 50125
Thank you for your support!
