Megan's Mission Possible

Welcome to our JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Team Page!  We are taking the steps to help achieve JDRF's mission: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.

The money our JDRF Walk Team raises will go directly to support this life-changing research.

Megan was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on October 11, 2010.  Since that day Megan has pricked her finger at least 6-8 times a day to monitor her blood glucose level, counts every carbohydrate she eats, and monitors the amount of insulin her pump gives her.  At age 9, Megan has been such a trouper about the changes in her daily routine.  She keeps busy at school, at dance, basketball, running club and keeping up with her older sisters.

This year our family is out of town on the walk day, but JDRF is the best organization fighting to find a cure for type 1 diabetes so we want to continue our support.   If you have taken time to visit our team page today, we ask that you consider making a donation.  To make a team donation, click on the "Donate" button at the top of this page.
