It is that time of year again...a chance to raise money to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes! As many of you know, my daughter, Mckenzie was diagnosed with this disease in January of 2010. It has been a long road and this diagnosis will continue to create challenges many of you won't, and I hope will never have to understand.
Mckenzie and I, along with some truly great friends, will be walking in the Treasurer Valley Walk to Cure Diabetes in Boise, Idaho, May 3rd to raise awareness and money to improve the lives of every person with Type 1 Diabetes and to find a cure. The funds raised will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). I am hoping I can count on a donation. Every donation helps regardless of size. You can donate several ways: private message me and I will be happy to pick up your donation, mail it to me at PO Box 202, Baker City, Oregon 97814, or donate by clicking on the link provided http://www2.jdrf.org/site/TR?fr_id=3319&pg=entry.
We appreciate all of you and a BIG thanks to everyone that donates.
