Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! I'll be taking part in this year?s Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). This year especially I am walking for Kyle Bieker. Kyle was 18 when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. To keep his diabetes under control, Kyle has to monitor the food he eats, take an insulin shot after every meal, and take a shot of insulin and a pill before he goes to bed at night. He also has to check his blood sugar with a blood sugar meter before every meal. If you ask Kyle, he will tell you it is very difficult living with diabetes. Unfortunately, Type 1 diabetes is life threatening and will never go away.
Kyle and I are asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help us make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you for your support!
