Dear Family & Friends -
Thanks for visiting the Zac's Attack for a Cure JDRF Fundraising page. Many of you know that our son Zachary was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) at the age of 12 -- nearly 5 years ago. T1D (or juvenille diabetes) has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember; my father struggled with T1D and passed away from diabetic complications at the much too young age of 45. There have been incredible advancements in the treatment of T1D over the past decade, and with his continuous committment to his diabetes management, Zachary will have a long and healthy life.
But today, there still is no cure or prevention, and that is what we are working towards.
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you for your support!
