Every year my team of family and friends shows up at the Mall of America, before some of us are normally even awake (especially me) to take part in this amazing event.  This is our 14th year walking with JDRF in the Walk for a Cure.  We walk in hopes that someday soon doctors and researchers will find a cure for Diabetes.  I wear an insulin pump 24/7.  Without a cure I will be dependent on insulin until a cure is found. 

This year, it is our goal to raise $3,000 as a team.  My personal goal is to raise $1,000.  Every single dollar helps, and over 80-87% of every dollars goes to finding a cure.
