Hey everyone! It is once again time to start thinking about this years JDRF walk! I am already looking forward to it and can't wait for the exciting weekend!
A lot has happened in the last year since the walk. I graduated from high school at Hayfield in the spring and got my CNA license this summer, along with my first job at the nursing home in town! It is a tough job, but rewarding. We also moved into a new house this summer, so along with graduation, moving, and getting ready for college it was a busy summer! This fall I started my freshman year at Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI as a nursing major. So far I really enjoy it here and have met a ton of new, wonderful people! My diabetes and celiacs is still pretty much the same. Hanging in there. My A1C was a bit higher at the end of the summer (probably due to stress and lack of schedule) but, I have made it my goal at college to really be more efficient with stuff and have made a huge effort to lowering it back to normal. Hopefully it will pay off!
That is the latest update from me, hope this finds you all well. I have realized over the years how blessed I am to have my wonderful family, friends, and all of YOU in my life!
Thanks for all your wonderful donations and support through all these years!
Happy Donating :)
