Hello! This is Jason Bourke.  It is that time of the year again and I am VERY excited to be able to get together with all of you again this year for the JDRF "Walk to cure Diabetes".  Just a little FYI:  I myself was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes back on January 12th of 1999 and unfortunately my son Reece was diagnosed on January 4th of 2010.  We both are on Insulin Pumps and are constantly trying to improve our A1C Blood Glucose Numbers.  I have had pretty good control of my diabetes with the pump...however, my son it seems is constantly up & down.  I have done countless research and have concluded that Pediatric Diabetes (Diabetes in young kids) is TOTALLY different than it is with an adult.  I am very proud of all the research and development that has been done over the years but we definately have much further to go.  Research suggests that by the year 2025, 1 in 4 people (Adults and Kids) will have diabetes.  Can you believe that? (That's basically one person out of every family...Dad, Mom, and children).  We need to get involved.  I am very dedicated to this cause and therefore would LOVE for you to help me in one of two ways.  1) Please join our  team (Reece's MONSTER Trucks) this year on February 23rd 2013 @ the Mall of America OR 2) Please donate money to this cause.  If you are unable to do either one, I would still very much appreciate your thoughts and prayers.  If you are interested in more information, see below.  Thank you so much, Jason.

Also, this year (2012-2013) was Reece's second year of school (1st Grade).  I want to give a big "WELCOME" to all the Students/Parents/Teachers/Staff from the Cambridge Christian School who will join us for the first time this year.
