Dear Family and Friends,
We would like to thank all of you that have supported us in so many ways; we have been so lucky and truly blessed to have you all in our lives. In the past, many of you have contributed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes. This year the walk is on February 23th at the Mall of America. The morning is an amazing celebration of inspiration and hope that a cure is within our reach.
Sean was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 9 years old, he is now 19. Sean and our family believe that the success in living with diabetes is about a spirit of courage and resilience, dauntless drive, and refusing to allow diabetes to be a barrier to the fullest pursuit and celebration of life. Sean has not let diabetes stop him from participating in sports, other activities and going to college 6 1/2 hours away from his mom. He does not allow diabetes to stop him from pursuing his hopes and dreams. Sean continues to live his life in this way with a positive attitude and is thriving because of it.
JDRF funds more type 1 diabetes research than any other charity worldwide and it's making progress along many promising paths toward better treatments and a cure. Many of these new technologies have helped Sean and many other people live healthier lives and manage their diabetes better.
If you are interested in making a tax-deductible contribution of any amount, you can send a check to us, payable to JDRF. Our home address is: 8401 Xene Ln N. Maple Grove, MN 55311. Or you can donate on line at the link on the right of this page.
Please continue to hope and pray for a cure for juvenile diabetes.
Remember,
