Hello renewed members and newcomers!

My life changed forever on June 4th, 2009 when Adriana Ann joined our world. She is truly the light of my life! There is no greater gift, regardless of the curveballs life can throw- She is worth it!!

My life (and the lives of many others who are close to her) was changed forever again on December 17, 2010. Diabetes is a very difficult, unpredictable and relentless disease that has taken away Ana's carefree childhood. No child should have to know how many carbs a food has, or have to stop in the middle of playtime to check their blood.  I, and many of Ana's closest Allies do our best to make sure she gets to be as carefree as possible. Some day she will have to take charge of her own care, but until that day comes;
