    Hi--

    My name is Sam, and I am 11 years old.  I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes on the 4th of July when I was 7 years old.  The JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes will be at the Mall of America on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 8:00 am.  This is the fourth year that our team, SAM'S STAR WALKERS, will participate to help raise money for the JDRF.  

    The JDRF is the worldwide nonprofit leader in funding research to treat, prevent & cure Type 1 diabetes.  More than 80% of their expenditures directly support leading edge research towards their mission.  

    I live with diabetes all the time, day and night.  I want a cure for Type 1!  Please join me and my family at the Walk and/or donate to the JDRF.
