This is the Zib-a-dee-doo-dah's sixth JDRF walk! We've done an awesome job for the past five walks and I'm crossing my fingers for an even better outcome this year!
Just a little bit of history:
I was eleven years old when I was diagnosed with type one diabetes, meaning that I've been living with this disease for a little over six years. I used to have to give myself anywhere from four to eight shots every day with even more finger pricks, now I still do finger pricks but have an insulin pump. The pump is a machine that injects my medicine into an insertion site, which I have to change every three days.
I would really appreciate any support, be it a donation or encouragement! Thank you very much for helping me out, it means so much!
Your donation will count towards the team's fundraising total. In addition, please give credit to the person that asked for your support to recognize them for their efforts in creating a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
