Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! My name is Glenn Sellars and I am type 1 diabetic. I have been T1 for almost 10 years. I started on the Medtronic Real Time Revel Paradigm insulin pump 3 months ago. It has changed my life. My A1C has gone from a 9% to a 7% since being on the pump. I have been blessed to be able to have such a device.  I'll be taking part in this year?s Walk at the Mall Of America to raise funds to improve my life and the lives of others also affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). My family and I are traveling from our hometown of Kansas City to the Mall Of America in Bloomington, MN because this walk means alot to us and we want to help make a difference.

I am asking for your support.  Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts.  By doing so, you can help me make a difference in my life and the millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.

Did you know that:

• T1D is an autoimmune disease that comes on suddenly and strikes both children and adults at any age?
• T1D has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle?
• Those living with T1D must carefully balance insulin doses with eating and daily activities throughout the day and night?
• Those living with T1D must test their blood sugar by pricking their fingers for blood 6 or more times a day?

As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D.  JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered.  Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
