Dear Family & Friends,

Four years ago Roselveth was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of two.  Since then we have watched him strive to live a normal life despite the constant demands of this disease.  Roselveth rarely complains about the daily finger pokes and insulin injections.  He is a constant inspiration with his courage and attitude.  Roselveth's dream is to be just like every other kid.  Our family is committed more than ever to make his dream a reality.

In an effort to raise money to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes and to encourage and support Roselveth, we formed Roselveth's Round-Up and joined JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes.  JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) is the largest non-profit, non-governmental funder of Type 1 Diabetes research worldwide.  We strongly believe that supporting JDRF is the best way we can work towards finding a cure.  This year's walk will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at the Mall of America.

Please consider helping us in our efforts to reach our goal and make a difference for Roselveth and others suffering from this devastating disease. Here are some ways you can help: 

• Join Roselveth's Round-Up and walk with us on February 23rd. You can collect money from folks you know, including yourself, and then join us at the walk. It's just a fun, leisurely 1 hour walk inside the Mall of America, with no set distance requirement!
• Just ask 10 of your friends to donate $10 each (the cost of packing a bag lunch instead of going out for 1 day, or the cost of 2 cups of Caribou/Starbucks Coffee) and you will have raised $100!
• Make a contribution in support of Roselveth's Round-Up. You can either donate online or send your tax-deductible contribution to our home address made payable to JDRF and contact others in your circle of family and friends to contribute as well.
