Welcome to Lindsey's Lucky Stars!

It has now been over four years since Lindsey was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (T1D).  In that time, we have watched her strive to live a normal life, despite the constant demands of the disease.  She is a beautiful, spunky little girl in spite of the daily challenges of life with diabetes.  T1D does not define her.  Lindsey's GOAL is to live her life without diabetes.  Our family is committed to doing whatever we can to help find a cure so that Lindsey's GOAL can be achieved!

Four years ago, in an effort to raise money to help find a cure for T1D, and to encourage and support Lindsey, we formed Lindsey's Lucky Stars walk team & have been amazed at the support we have received from family and friends.  For the 5th year, we will be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes.  JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) is the largest charitable funder of Type 1 Diabetes research worldwide.  Our family believes strongly that supporting JDRF is the best way we can work towards finding a cure for Lindsey and so many others. This year's Minnesota chapter walk will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at the Mall of America.

You can join "Lindsey's Lucky Stars" by:

1)  Making a contribution in support of Lindsey's Lucky Stars.  You can donate either online (see DONATE TO LINDSEY link above) or by sending a check made out to JDRF to our home address;

2)  Walking with us on February 23rd.  All we request is that you register (see JOIN MY TEAM link above) and join us at the walk.  It's a fun, leisurely walk inside the Mall of America, with no set time or distance requirements.  It's up to you if you'd like to donate financially, or just join us in supporting Lindsey! 

3) Or sending an encouraging message to Lindsey that you support her GOAL of being a part of the of CURE for Type 1 diabetes.
